Dr David M. Kolakowski
Dr. David Kolakowski is a lifelong "East-Sider". He was raised in Warren, MI, and was a graduate of Warren Woods High School. He now resides here in Macomb with his family. Dr. K attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn for undergraduate study and was a 1988 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Macomb Dental Society, the International Association for Orthodontics, and Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity. Dr. K regularly attends continuing education focusing on Orthodontics, TMJ dysfunction, Endodontics, and Dental Implant Restoration. In his spare time, Dr. K can be found boating, fishing, cycling, or pursuing his dream of being a rock drummer.
Dr. Eric T. Tye
Dr. Eric T. Tye was born and raised in southeast Michigan. He grew up in Macomb and now resides in Rochester Hills with his wife Melissa and three sons. Dr. Tye graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory high school and earned his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University. He went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 2016. Dr. Tye maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Macomb Dental Society, Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Tye regularly takes continuing education courses to stay current on the latest treatment techniques & innovations. In his free time, Dr. Tye enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, and cheering on his favorite Detroit sports teams.
Dr. Kyle J. Burkardt
Dr. Kyle Burkardt is originally from Monroe, Michigan. He was accepted to the University of Detroit Mercy’s 7-year accelerated dental program where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated from dental school in 2018. Dr. Burkardt attended University of Detroit Mercy Dental School through the United States Army Health Professionals Scholarship Program. After dental school he moved to Fort Benning (Fort Moore), Georgia where he continued his post-graduated education through Martin Army Community Hospital’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program from 2018 to 2019. Dr. Burkardt then moved to his permanent assignment at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri where he worked in the Dental Health Activity treating newly recruited soldiers entering Basic Combat Training until 2023. Dr. Burkardt maintains membership in the Christian Medical and Dental Association and has participated in three service trips to Honduras over the years treating the underserved. When not at the dental practice, you might find him weightlifting, swing dancing, board gaming, guitar playing or reading philosophy and history at his favorite breakfast dive.
